TheDailyPracticeBlog cultivates music and community by empowering motivated youth to pursue private guitar lessons without financial barriers.  Recipients of this endowment must be of school age and represent an underserved community.  

The DailyPracticeBlog believes that music is a cornerstone of strong communities and social relationships and wants to invest in motivated students who would not otherwise have the financial means to study privately with a guitar instructor.

The endowment will provide the recipient with a free loaner guitar and free weekly 30 minute lessons!

The scholarship will remain active so long as the student continues to put forth an honest and reasonable effort to learn the guitar.

Unfortunately, students who do not practice will lose the scholarship so that someone else from the community may have the opportunity to learn the guitar.
